There are hundreds of wood species available for a large variety of uses. Some species are better suited for inside applications (i.e. cutting boards), while other species may be better suited for outdoor applications (i.e. picnic tables). The species we will use for your project will depend on your wishes and project goals.
This depends on various factors such as:
- Will it be used inside or outside?
- Will it be used with food items?
- Is there a particular look (i.e. patterns and/or colors) that you are looking for?
- What wood species are available at that time?
We will be glad to guide you through this process! We will work with you to determine the look you want and will provide you with the wood options that will best suit your needs.
As with most everything today, each wood species has market prices that can vary over time depending on supply and demand. The price for specialty wood is normally calculated on a per board foot method and each species will vary from another one.
For custom orders, we can provide a quote based on your requested specifications. The quote will also include any shipping costs or delivery charges. After your approval we will get started on your item.
